Resumen:
The rapid rise of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools such as ChatGPT is transforming the landscape of higher education. Beyond their immediate use in writing support and tutoring, these tools are driving a more profound transformation in pedagogy, curriculum design, and the foundational structures of learning itself. Drawing on a triangulated mixed-methods design, this study integrates a scoping review, bibliometric mapping (VOSviewer, n=209 records), a systematic literature review of 36 peer-reviewed articles (2023–2025), and ten semi-structured interviews with academic leaders and educators across five institutions in Australia and Indonesia. The central aim of the study is...

Resumen:
This study presents a systematic literature review to explore the emerging role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in entrepreneurship education (EE). While recent years have witnessed an increasing interest in applying GAI tools, such as ChatGPT, to support personalized learning, business model simulation, and decision-making, the field remains at an early exploratory stage. Drawing on 50 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2019 and early 2025, the study aims to map the conceptual landscape, identify key themes, and assess the current state of theoretical and empirical development. The findings reveal four major domains in GAI-enabled EE: personalized and adaptive...

Resumen:
AI ethics education remains significantly underprioritized in classroom practice, despite the global push for AI literacy in K-12 curricula. This systematic review analyzes 68 peer-reviewed publications (from January 2014 to March 2025) to map the research landscape of K-12 AI ethics education. The results reveal global trends in the current research landscape, pedagogical designs addressing major responsible AI (RAI) principles, and various learning assessment methods, and students’ ethical learning outcomes manifested across cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. By further synthesizing findings, we identify disparities of eastern and western contexts, gaps in addressing RAI...

Resumen:
With the rapid technological development of society brought on by Artificial Intelligence (AI), the demand for AI-literate workers will increase in the future. It is critical to develop the next generation's AI competencies and educate them about how to work with and use AI. Previous studies on AI were predominantly focused on secondary and university education; however, research on the Artificial Intelligence curriculum in early childhood education is scarce. Due to the lack of conformity on the standardisation of AI curriculum for early childhood education, this study examines the AI curriculum for kindergarten children using the framework which consists of four key components, including...

Resumen:
Artificial intelligence (AI) agents are rapidly reshaping the landscape of computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL), presenting both new opportunities and challenges for educators and learners. Despite their increasing prevalence, there remains a lack of comprehensive, theory-informed synthesis regarding the roles and impacts of AI agents within CSCL. This systematic literature review analyses 46 empirical studies published between 2014 and 2025, with the aim of clarifying the methodological and contextual characteristics of the field, the pedagogical and technological features of AI-mediated CSCL environments, the instructional and mediational functions of AI agents, and the...

Resumen:
The introduction of Artificial Intelligence technology enables the integration of Chatbot systems into various aspects of education. This technology is increasingly being used for educational purposes. Chatbot technology has the potential to provide quick and personalised services to everyone in the sector, including institutional employees and students. This paper presents a systematic review of previous studies on the use of Chatbots in education. A systematic review approach was used to analyse 53 articles from recognised digital databases. The review results provide a comprehensive understanding of prior research related to the use of Chatbots in education, including information on...

Resumen:
The rapid evolution of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) is reshaping higher education (HE), offering transformative opportunities for academic engagement while posing significant challenges to academic integrity, ethical frameworks, and global research power dynamics. This study maps the recent (2022–2025) research landscape of GenAI in HE through a bibliometric analysis of 2762 articles from the Web of Science Core Collection. Employing multipolarity as an analytical lens, this study examines the power dynamics within this research domain reflected by publication records from different countries (or regions). Findings highlight surging global interest in GenAI in HE, with...

Resumen:
This meta-analysis examines the efficacy of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in second language acquisition within self-directed, out-of-classroom informal contexts. A total of 15 studies meeting the inclusion criteria were identified that examined the impact of GenAI on second-language proficiency, motivation, and self-regulation. GenAI was shown to have significant effects on English proficiency and self-regulation, demonstrating its versatility in enhancing language learning outcomes. However, GenAI failed to show significant effects on learning motivation, and based on this finding we highlight the need to develop measures of motivation that are suitable for GenAI in education...

Resumen:
The rapid expansion of Learning Analytics (LA) and Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED) offers new scalable, data-intensive systems but raises concerns about data privacy and agency. Excluding stakeholders—like students and teachers—from the design process can potentially lead to mistrust and inadequately aligned tools. Despite a shift towards human-centred design in recent LA and AIED research, there remain gaps in our understanding of the importance of human control, safety, reliability, and trustworthiness in the design and implementation of these systems. We conducted a systematic literature review to explore these concerns and gaps. We analysed 108 papers to provide insights...
