El presente artículo se centra en algunos aspectos del conocimiento receptivo y productivo del vocabulario de LE. Primero, en base a las diversas definiciones de los conceptos propuestas por los especialistas en el léxico de LE, se constata que todavía no existe una definición conclusiva de los dos tipos de conocimiento. Segundo, se pretende aclarar su relación exponiendo algunos de los modelos explicativos de dicha relación propuestos desde la década de los años noventa.
The present paper focuses on some aspects of the receptive and productive knowledge of the vocabulary in second language. At first, on the basis of the various definitions of these concepts that have been proposed from the specialists, it can be seen that there isn't yet a conclusive definition of the two types of lexical knowledge. Secondly, we try to lighten their relationship exposing some explanatory models of this relationship, that have been suggested since the decade of the nineties.
