The Carlton Academy is seeking an experienced teacher of Spanish and French to teach across Key Stages 3-5. Responsibilities include delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, using creative strategies to support all learners, tracking progress and giving meaningful feedback, collaborating with colleagues and participating in the academy's enrichment activities.
The Carlton Academy is a 'good' and over-subscribed 11-18 academy with 1,354 pupils, part of Redhill Academy Trust. Staff take part in the Redhill College of Leadership and Development, which provides CPD opportunities, and work with high-performing schools in the region; the Trust leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications.
Start date: as soon as possible. Fixed term of up to one year (maternity or parental leave cover), full time, 1 FTE.
- Experience of teaching Spanish and French.

- Commitment to student achievement and motivation.
- Eligibility for an enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the United Kingdom: visa sponsorship is not available.
