AIL Español is supporting its new international partner, Maya Company, part of the Qaiwan Group, in the recruitment of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teachers for an educational project in Sulaymaniyah, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Your Role
As a Spanish language teacher, you will:
- Deliver face-to-face Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) classes, initially to adult and university students at A1 level.
- Plan engaging, interactive lessons tailored to students' learning needs.
- Develop teaching materials, classroom activities and assessment tools.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the academic and methodological development of the centre.
- Participate in new educational initiatives as the project evolves.

Candidate Profile
Maya Company is seeking qualified Spanish language teachers who combine professional expertise with a genuine interest in international education.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Relevant qualifications or specialised training in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE).
- Previous experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Initiative, flexibility and intercultural awareness.
- Motivation to live abroad and contribute to a developing educational project.
Experience in curriculum design, teaching material development or educational project implementation will be considered an advantage.
