Teach Spanish Immersion in the U.S. with Participate Learning.
Make a difference in young learners’ lives while growing your career through cultural exchange
For nearly four decades, Participate Learning has connected international educators with schools across the U.S. As a U.S. Department of State–designated sponsor, we now support teachers in 711 schools across 80 districts in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
In an exciting collaboration with Wake County Public Schools, we are hiring creative and dedicated professionals who believe all children can be successful. You will be an ambassador for your country, providing authentic and effective learning experiences for all students while preparing them to be active citizens of the world.
As an Ambassador Teacher, you’ll join a welcoming community where 97% of teachers renew and 96% recommend the experience. Enjoy no sponsor fees, full visa and relocation support, and mentoring from day one.
Our dual-language (Spanish immersion) positions are part of a K–5 program in which students learn in two languages, building bilingualism, biliteracy, and strong academic foundations. We focus on early language development because it helps students grow into confident communicators, succeed academically, and engage in an increasingly global world.
Similar to Elementary school teachers, dual language teachers lead classes in core subjects while teaching the class in Spanish with one of two models:
- Full Immersion: 90% Spanish
- 50/50 split between English and Spanish.
- Qualified primary teachers with training and experience teaching ages 5–11 who are currently working in a school setting.
- Bilingual in both Spanish and English.
