Haileybury Malta opened in September 2023 for pupils in Years 3-8, and expanded to years 1-10 from September 2024 and Reception to Year 11 from September 2025. Our Sixth Form opened in September 2026, coinciding with the move to our permanent home in the Royal Naval Hospital in Mtarfa. Haileybury caters for boys and girls aged 3-18. In the Senior School, we offer the Cambridge IGCSE pathway followed by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
Main purpose of job:
- To offer Spanish as a subject specialism at up to IB level.
- To play a full part in the life of the School.
- To take responsibility for a tutor group.
Teach various year groups across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including IGCSE Spanish and IB Spanish B and Ab Initio. As a teacher, the successful applicant for the post will also be expected to undertake duties as a Tutor and as part of the school’s extra-curricular activities programme.
Full time, fixed term. Responsible to: Deputy Head.
Start date: January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
We are seeking experienced IBDP educators who can contribute towards setting up our IBDP provision.
