The annual base starting salary range for this position is $89,000 to $93,000 (USD). When extending an offer of employment, Vassar College considers factors such as (but not limited to) the candidate’s education/training, work experience, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations. This salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting.
We are seeking a one year full-time visiting faculty member in the field of Spanish Language and Latin American Literature and Culture to begin in August 2026.
The successful candidate will teach five courses at the undergraduate level across all levels of the curriculum, including language, culture, literature, and/or media.
Applicants should have a PhD or anticipate PhD completion by May 2026 and have native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
