The expected 9-month base salary range for this position is $77,900 to $80,400.
The Hispanic Studies Department at Hamilton College invites applications for 3 visiting positions for one-year terms (leave replacement positions for 2026-2027), beginning July 1, 2026. We seek candidates to teach courses in Spanish language, Hispanic film, contemporary Spanish literature and cultures, and contemporary Latin American literature and cultures. The Hispanic Studies Department offers a diverse curriculum that includes Spanish language study for both non-heritage and heritage speakers, and Latin American, Spanish and U.S. Latino literature and culture studies. In our Centro Universitario de Estudios Hispánicos in Madrid we also offer courses in social sciences, art, cinema and dance. The teaching load for this position is five courses for the academic year.
Candidates with ABD will be considered, although candidates with a Ph.D. are preferred.
