The school now has an exciting opportunity for a Teacher (Spanish), Middle School to join our Middle School team.
The role of the Spanish Teacher is essentially to build and maintain a successful Spanish program within the school by providing an educational atmosphere conducive to learning and developing through the process of inquiry and in conjunction with the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP and DP programs.
Position Requirements:
β At least 3 years of experience in working with children as a Spanish teacher with relevant qualifications
β MYP experience is preferred
β Curriculum development knowledge is required
β Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skill.
β Excellent verbal and written English skills
β Good references on request
β Proficient in using computers
β Demonstrates the Stamford Values – Integrity, Courage, Ingenuity and Compassion
Qualifications:
β Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent is required
β Professional current teacher licensure or certification is required
β Master’s degree in relevant field preferred
