We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Spanish join our thriving faculty.
As a department, we constantly strive to improve our practice and benefit from a strong whole-school culture of professional development and a dynamic, ‘can-do’ attitude. You will be joining a team of experienced, supportive colleagues with deep and extensive subject knowledge, who constantly seek to learn from each other and plan collaboratively as much as possible. In addition, we host 1-2 PGCE trainee teachers each year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a high calibre, enthusiastic and creative teacher to join our outstanding Faculty of Linguistic and Cultural Studies (FLACS). This post is suitable for both experienced teachers as well as those who may be returning to the profession after a break. The school supports a strong induction programme and bespoke professional development.
You will either be an experienced practitioner with excellent pedagogical knowledge, superb communication skills, and a firm commitment to widening access to modern languages for students of all backgrounds and abilities, or have the potential to develop into such a practitioner. The ability to teach Spanish at KS3-4 is essential and at KS5 highly desirable; the ability to offer a second subject would be an advantage. You must have experience of teaching in a UK secondary school.
