MPS/UPS: £32,916.00 - £51,048.00 Annually (FTE).
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Spanish in a school with an ambitious curriculum and a senior leadership team who truly value the importance of language learning for children.
We are looking for a Teacher of Spanish who is knowledgeable, inspirational, has great enthusiasm for the subject, and is ambitious for excellent results. The post will offer excellent opportunities for development within a trust at the start of a new five-year strategy. We would welcome applications from ECTs or experienced candidates.
Contract: Permanent. Full time (100%). Start date: January 2027. Place of work: Melbourn Village College, Melbourn, Royston.
- Qualified teacher status or if a current trainee be due to get QTS
- Good degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience and/or training in teaching across the ability and age range for KS3/KS4
- Teaching experience within the designated age range
- Classroom teaching leading to strong pupil progress (this may include during teaching practice)
- Developing and implementing inspiring teaching materials
- A continued commitment to own professional development
