The Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia (https://www.rom.uga.edu) invites applications for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track) of Spanish to begin August 1, 2026. This is a 12-month, full-time clinical faculty position, renewable and eligible for promotion.
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree.
- Two years of teaching experience is required.
- We particularly welcome candidates who will bring applied knowledge of task- and proficiency-based approaches to design community-engaged learning opportunities that advance student success and increase internship participation.
- Competitive applicants will have a demonstrated background in program development.
- An interest in developing and supporting similar offerings for students of an additional romance language is a plus.
