The Department of Luso-Hispanic Studies invites applications for a full-time one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Spanish beginning July 2023.
The teaching load will be 2-1-2, two courses in the fall and spring semesters and a four-week intensive course during Winter Term (the month of January). Courses will be a balance of teaching language and cultural content.
Appointment will be made at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) or Visiting Instructor (ABD).
Requisitos
Ideal candidates will specialize in Southern Cone cultural studies and the study of media and/or literature.
Candidates must be committed to teaching students from diverse backgrounds and producing scholarship that will enhance a diverse faculty and curriculum.
Applicants must provide evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly work.
