Are you looking for the opportunity to join a successful Languages Department in an International IB World School situated in the beautiful Bahamas? St Andrew's is a family school and we are proud of our supportive culture of mutual understanding and respect.
In February 2023, our school received the following major recommendation in our CIS & NEASC accreditation report: "We commend the leaders, faculty, and staff for cultivating a warm and trusting professional working environment, grounded in mutual respect and support, across all members of the community."
You will potentially teach Spanish up to IGCSE and IBDP level. A passion for the subject and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our students are essential as is a commitment to support our extra curricular programme.
For the right candidate, an opportunity exists to take on a leadership role in this department.
Candidates must be qualified teachers (holding a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a teaching qualification) with at least two years teaching experience. Previous experience teaching IGCSE/IB is an advantage, as is the ability to teach some French.
