About the Role:
To meet the school’s mission and vision through the design and delivery of the IB MYP/DP, College Board AP, BTEC, and/or Stamford course programs.
To engage a diverse student population in the target curriculum standards, recognizing and supporting their individual assets, identities, and needs.
To support students’ holistic development through a range of formal programs and other contributions.
To support the Stamford community through communications and responsibilities with a range of stakeholders.
Position Requirements:
â At least 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting
â At least 3 years of relevant program (IBMYP/IBDP/AP/BTEC) experience preferred
â Strong background and experience in language acquisition
â Ability to teach Spanish A would be advantageous
â Highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills
â Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
â Excellent references on request
â Proficiency in using school systems and databases, communications platforms, and educational technology
Candidate preferences
â International school teaching experience preferred
â Curriculum development experience preferred
â Advisory/pastoral experience preferred
â Multilingual candidates preferred
Qualifications:
â Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent is required
â Professional current teacher licensure or certification is required
â Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred
