Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Teach primarily elementary and intermediate Spanish language courses, and assess and evaluate student progress. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Mentor and supervise students pursuing honors credit and supervise graduate teaching assistants. Provide leadership in extracurricular activities to enhance student learning. Participate in professional activities, such as attending professional conferences in these fields. Participate in other service activities at the university, such as serving on committees. Direct “Baylor in Madrid” study abroad program. Develop new course material and design lesson plans adhering to recommended university standards. Coordinate Spanish elementary courses to ensure consistency and instructional quality.
Requires a Master’s in Spanish language and literature or equivalent.
