Descripción 

The Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages is seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Modern Spanish Studies from 01 September 2023 until 31 August 2024.  
 
The successful candidate will contribute to the teaching of Modern Spanish Studies within the Sub-Faculty of Spanish by offering 16 hours of lectures or seminars over the academic year. They will also be responsible during Full Term for providing approximately 8 contact hours a week of undergraduate tuition in Spanish literature and translation.  A proportion of the tutorial teaching will be dedicated to Lady Margaret Hall and Somerville College, but the specialist elements of the teaching will be distributed across Colleges.

Requisitos 

Applicants must possess exceptional fluency in Spanish and the ability to teach it at undergraduate levels within the Oxford course and a good undergraduate degree in Spanish. Candidates will be expected to have submitted a doctorate in the field of Spanish by the date of application for the post, though those close to completion may be considered.
