El Dipartimento di Studi Linguistici e Culturali Comparati de la Universidad Ca’ Foscari de Venecia ofrece una plaza de contratado doctor de Lengua española con tenure track. El contrato tiene una duración de 3 años con dedicación a tiempo completo y prevé que el contratado doctor desarrolle tanto tareas de docencia como de investigación en el ámbito de la lingüística española.
Además del título de Doctor, los candidatos interesados en solicitar la plaza deben poseer al menos uno de los dos requisitos siguientes:
- Estar habilitados a Professore Associato di II Fascia (Profesor Titular de Universidad) en el área de conocimiento 10/I1 - Lingue, letterature e culture spagnola e ispano-americane (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale, ASN: https://abilitazione.miur.it/public/index.php).
- H.aber tenido, por lo menos durante 36 meses (consecutivos o no consecutivos), uno o más contratos posdoctorales de investigación en el ámbito universitario.

The researcher is expected to carry out frontal teaching activities pertaining to the academic discipline ‘Language and Translation – Spanish’. The teaching activities will have to deal with Spanish Language (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, lexical, pragmatics) from a synchronic, diachronic and comparative perspective, as well as Spanish-American Language. The researcher will have to carry out a valuable research activity through publications at a good/excellent national level and at an international level, and by taking part in national and international conferences and research teams; furthermore he is expected to apply for competitively awarded research grants or to take part in research teams who do so. The research activity will concern grammatical, lexical and discursive aspects from a theoretical and applied point of view, in line with the academic discipline ‘Language and Translation – Spanish’.
The position will be hosted in the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies. The Department has recently received a “Department of Excellence” Award by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. The Excellence Award has allowed the Department to Develop state of the art laboratory facilities to pursue the theoretical and empirical study of linguistic and cultural diversity.
The Department is unique in its multidisciplinary approach to language, literature and culture, with fertile exchanges between linguistic, literary, historical and political approaches and an international outlook essential to a critical understanding of global society.
The Department actively pursues internationalization, activating joint programmes, Erasmus exchange periods, internships abroad, encouraging publication in international journals and inviting many Visiting Scholars and Professors.
