The Department of World and Classical Languages and Cultures at Benedictine College invites applications for the position of Visiting Instructor of Spanish beginning August 1, 2025. This is a one-year position with potential for renewal. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
Benedictine College has a full-time undergraduate enrollment of approximately 2400 students and is a mission-centered academic community. Responsibilities include teaching four first-year Spanish classes per semester. Additional responsibilities include attendance at department and faculty meetings and engagement in the life of the Department and College.
Requisitos
Education
The minimum requirement is a Master’s degree in Spanish.
Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience teaching Spanish at the post-secondary level using appropriate communicative language teaching methodology. Preference will be given to candidates with training in and/or experience with the Oral Proficiency Interview
