The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Colgate University invites applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish beginning fall 2025.
The normal teaching load is 5 courses per year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach language classes at all levels, as well as survey courses and undergraduate seminars in literature. Participation in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum, may also be expected.
Requisitos
Completion of Ph.D. is required prior to or shortly after the date of hire.
The successful candidate will be a specialist in Spanish Peninsular literature with a scholarly interest in a literary movement of the 19th through the 21st centuries.
