Descripción

We are seeking to appoint a passionate geographer who will lead the MFL Department in powerful knowledge, curriculum rigour and expert teaching practice – leading to outstanding outcomes for students. Approximately 70% of students take GCSE Spanish in Years 10 & 11 as part of Ebacc programme. Spanish is the school's highest performing subject, having been led to very high standards. Currently the school only offers Spanish, but we are keen to begin introducing French.

King Solomon High School is a unique and wonderful Jewish secondary school set in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our school is inclusive, and our students and staff come from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds.

  • Are you an experienced teacher of Spanish with QTS?
  • Are you passionate about raising standards in secondary schools?
  • Are you committed to excellence and rigour, to provide a world class educational experience?
  • Do you have drive, vision and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children?
  • Can you hold yourself and others to high standards?
  • Are you well read and well informed about educational research and best practice in teaching and learning?

If you have answered yes to these questions then you might have found the perfect role and be the right person to join an ambitious team leading this school out of Requires Improvement.

The school is currently going through a period of embedding change and improvement. The Headteacher is recruiting new staff to transform all aspects of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead real and meaningful change, lead innovation and be part of a great success story.
