The Department of Languages and Literatures at Oklahoma State University is searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish with a specialization in Mexican literature to begin in the Fall 2023 term. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda, this person will be expected to teach a wide range of undergraduate classes, including elementary and intermediate language as well as upper-division language, literature, and culture classes. Classes in English translation are also a possibility. A successful candidate should be willing to teach from a multicultural perspective and be willing to mentor ethnically and racially underrepresented students, as well as participate in service assignments within the Department, College of Arts and Sciences, and University.
