The School of Language and Literature (SLL) at the University of Central Arkansas invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer of Spanish to start in August 2025. SLL houses degree programs in Chinese, English, French, Linguistics, Spanish, and TESOL. SLL is home to more than 400 majors or minors. Our Spanish Program offers the BA and a minor. Program faculty are highly engaged in scholarly production and learner-centered pedagogies.
Requisitos
Required Education and/or Experience
Required qualifications for this position include:
- completion of the MA in Spanish.
- at least one year of successful teaching experience in Spanish language instruction atthe university level.
License(s)/Certifications (Required or Preferred)
Ideal candidates will be:
- ABD or possess the completed PhD in Spanish.
- possessed of significant, successful teaching experience in language instruction, as well as literature and/or film.
- pursuing a scholarly agenda that complements existing Spanish Program strengths.
