Descripción 

The World Languages Department at Muskingum University invites applications for a full-time, visiting faculty position for the 2025-2026 academic year. The opportunity is intended for an early career professional seeking a position at a primarily undergraduate institution with an emphasis on teaching excellence. This is one-year appointment, which begins August 1, 2025. 

The successful candidate will teach face-to-face intermediate and upper-level courses in Spanish, as well as work with undergraduate students on independent research projects as part of the senior seminar capstone experience. Additional expectations are to contribute to curriculum planning, help with the World Language Club and Phi Sigma Iota language honor society, work with a team on heritage programming, and advise students. In addition to advising Spanish students, the successful candidate will have an advising role in the Global Studies program and the development of hands-on, globally-themed experiences. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in online course design as Muskingum expands its curriculum as part of a national course-sharing consortium.
