The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a one-year, visiting assistant professor of Spanish position to begin August 16,  2025. This is a full-time, nine-month, non tenure-track position. We are seeking a candidate who would teach three four credit courses per semester, including lower and upper division language courses, Introduction to Literature, or upper division courses in the area of specialization in Spanish. This position might be renewed a maximum of 2 times.

Requisitos 

Applicants must demonstrate teaching excellence at the college level and possess native/near native ability in Spanish. A PhD or ABD in Spanish is required.
