Teach middle school Spanish language classes to students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establish clear objectives for all lessons. Plan lessons for daily instruction that derive from state standards, assessments, and curriculum. Create a classroom environment that engages and supports all students in learning and is appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. Evaluate student learning and revises instruction accordingly. Effectively prepare and use instructional materials and technology resources. Use student-centered instruction to facilitate comprehension in the target language, Spanish. Use measures of student learning to improve instruction. Utilize strategies to meet class objectives, student needs and abilities. Effectively communicate with students, parents, and the community.
