They will join a team of academic and professional colleagues at the Centre and will have responsibility for the development and delivery of a suite of short courses for the broader public on Latin America, and a range of modules for a part-time certificate, postgraduate diploma and Master’s degree that will accommodate the needs of those seeking to update their education and to upskill and re-skill, including entrepreneurs seeking to do business with Latin America. The successful candidate will also be a member of the Department of Hispanic Studies and will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision, particularly (but not exclusively) in relation to business related taught programmes involving Hispanic Studies. It is envisaged that it will be a notional 60/40 split between Applied Intercultural Communications (60% of this post) and Hispanic Studies (40%), with a flexibility that guarantees the success of the postgraduate programmes in Applied Intercultural Communications as a key priority in the School.
