The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Secondary Spanish Teacher to join our fantastic team.
As a Spanish Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons across IGCSE, A Level, and/or IB programmes. You'll plan and teach with ambition and clarity, ensuring all students—regardless of ability—are supported, challenged, and inspired. Your teaching will foster curiosity, care, and a love of languages, preparing students for academic success and global citizenship. You’ll assess progress regularly, contribute to school reports, and be a positive presence in both the classroom and wider school life, including pastoral care, extracurricular activities, and parent events.
This is a full-time, temporary role with an immediate start available.
You are a qualified Spanish teacher with a UK PGCE, Spanish, or international equivalent, and experience teaching up to A Level and/or IB. You have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom practice, and a commitment to student achievement.
Founded in 1971, Hastings School is a school that is growing rapidly with a new 21st Century Sixth Form teaching block opened in September 2019 and a new Primary campus in September 2021.
