Descripción 

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies at the University of Florida invites applications for a one-year Visiting Lecturer position in Spanish language and culture effective August 16, 2024. This is a nine-month, time-limited, non-tenure-accruing position, with the possibility of renewal (contingent on funding).

The responsibilities of the position are to teach three undergraduate courses in the area of Spanish language and culture per semester, plus potentially coordinate one lower-division Spanish course.

Requisitos 

Minimum requirements:
An MA in Spanish; native or native-like fluency in English and Spanish; demonstrated excellence as a teacher; and experience teaching college-level Spanish.

Preferred qualifications:
Expertise in Spanish for specific purposes and coordination experience.
