- Base Salary: HKD 20,000 per month (€2,500)
- Working Hours: 20-25 hours per week
- Overtime Rate: HKD 275 (€35) per hour for hours exceeding 25 per week (overtime is optional)

At The Spanish Academy we are looking for an inspiring Spanish Language Teacher to join our growing educational team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our school, you'll shape the language journey of diverse students while contributing to our innovative teaching approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver immersive Spanish lessons across all proficiency levels (A1-C2) and all ages from playgroups (2 to 5 years old) to adults.
- Develop dynamic, culturally-rich lesson plans incorporating modern teaching methodologies.
- Track and evaluate student progress through continuous assessment and detailed feedback.
- Implement differentiated instruction techniques to support various learning styles.
- Organize engaging cultural activities and conversation practice sessions.
- Collaborate with our academic team to maintain and improve curriculum standards.
Requisitos
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Native Spanish speaker.
- Proven track record in Spanish language education for at least 1 year.
- Strong intercultural communication skills
- Ability to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment
- Experience with modern language teaching methodologies (Communicative Approach, Task-Based Learning)
Required Qualifications:
- Native Spanish speaker with academic certification in Spanish Language teaching or linguistics.
- Minimum 1 year of documented teaching experience
- Valid certification as a examiner for DELE, IGCSE or IB is a plus.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
- Mastery of Spanish linguistics, including advanced grammar and regional variations
- Ability to teach diverse age groups and proficiency levels
- Strong command of modern language teaching methodologies
- Outstanding classroom management and student engagement skills
- Cultural competency and ability to integrate Hispanic cultural elements into lessons
Technical Proficiencies:
- Experience with digital platforms (Google Meet, Google Drive, Zoom, etc.)
- Familiarity with interactive teaching tools and multimedia resources
- Ability to integrate technology into language instruction
