The successful candidate will be required to:
- Teach, research and participate in the strategic planning and management of teaching and learning;
- Lead and/or participate in curriculum and faculty development activities within the department, the faculty and the wider university;
- Contribute to the life of the university and advance teaching, research and community outreach.
Requisitos
Essential Qualifications And Experience:
- Minimum of a Ph.D. in Spanish with a special focus on Translational Studies (Spanish/English)
- Possess native or near native competence in the Spanish;
- Excellent command of English;
- Demonstrated scholarly research and publications in the areas of Translational Studies, Spanish Language and Culture;
- At least five (5) years’ experience of teaching in the related areas at the tertiary level.
Candidates who possess the following will be at a distinct advantage:
- Knowledge of French Language;
- Experience supervising MPhil/PhD students;
- Evidence of prior grant acquisition;
- Evidence of curriculum development (face to face and distant delivery modes);
- Administrative experience within an academic institution;
- Certificate in University Teaching;
- Evidence of contribution to the Public Service OR field of study.
