You will be based within the Department of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics and you will be expected to teach from ab-initio to advanced level (A1 to C1), as part of our provision at undergraduate level. All our classes are in the evening 6-9pm (Tue through to Thursday), and run across three terms: from October to June, with some assessment duties to be undertaken in July. You will work as a member of a teaching team, within a predefined programme of study. In this role, you will be expected to use a range of teaching/learning techniques to inspire and engage students (online delivery may be required), prepare coursework tasks and exam papers, mark and assess work and provide timely feedback to students. We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic language tutors, with a relevant postgraduate qualification, to teach in our Spanish language undergraduate programme. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of teaching Spanish as a foreign language to adults, preferably at university level (experience in one-to-one teaching will not be enough).
